I'm using an ibook G4 (cat /proc/cpuinfo says PowerBook6,3) with kernel
2.6.12-3.
I've successfully applied your patch, installed latest synaptic version from
apt-get and followed your instructions.

But I'm unable to start XFree because:
unknown protocol "auto-dev"

What can I do?
