rather then adding a custom boot script its simpler to just add these
to /etc/sysctl.conf

dev/mac_hid/mouse_button_emulation = 1
dev/mac_hid/mouse_button2_keycode = 87
dev/mac_hid/mouse_button3_keycode = 88

make sure you have an extra empty line at the end of /etc/sysctl.conf
so it doesn't bitch.

they are i386 keycodes, so look in an i386 keymap.  (/usr/share/keymaps/i386)
