	I should point out that it is far from perfect.  I have helped
people use StarOffice and Wordperfect for  linux/unix and sometimes they
fail to convert documents or do it incorrectly.  Sometimes the default
MSword save parameters are at fault, and it is very incovenient for the
author to save the doc with other parameters (they may find this very
difficult).  Working with my g-friend under a dead-line, we have
occaisionally had been forced to boot win98.  But this is only a side
issue...
