Re: A plan to get rid of unnecessary package dependencies

Hello All:

Apparently senility has set in. I _thought_ I had filed this request but I located my emails about this from before I passed NM and I was just saying that it should be removed. I never got around to filing the actual request!

Anyway the package in the repository is a dummy package at this time and nothing in the archive depends on it. We can remove it from our svn with impunity and I will _immediately_ file the RM request.

I filed a request for this package to be removed form the archive several months ago. I don't know why my requests are not acknowledged. I will try again.
