Oops, it seems I wasn't quite parsing that correctly, sorry.

Anyway, even if I phrased that very clumsily, I maintain that the assumption
the holdups are caused just for the fun of it is not unspeakable. James'
reaction proves this nicely -- the "I don't like that, fuck you very much,
goodbye" attitude can be applied to the held up applicants just as well.
Perhaps "just for the fun of it" is also clumsily worded, but it's close
enough.
