RFC on tuned version of Ogg Vorbis

Hi.

First of all, I would like to start this mail apologizing for the fact
that I am not using my usual e-mail account (it has an outage right
now and it is extended enough to be annoying).

Anyway, I'm looking for comments on some tuned Ogg Vorbis packages
(Aoyumi Tuned Vorbis encoder), packaged by Mike Gan, from
rarewares.org.

Ideally, I would like to create a repository in the same sense as
Debian's, with architectures separated and source files correctly in
place, so that more people could use debmirror to his effect.

But first things first. Mike Gan does not provide packages for
architectures other than i386. I would like to package these in a good
fashion and, perhaps, co-mantain it, possibly getting some other
people involved.

The packages that I would love to have evaluated are here:

dget -x http://nectar.ath.cx/libvorbis/libvorbis-aotuv_0.b5%2b20061024-0.1.dsc
dget -x http://nectar.ath.cx/oggenc-aotuv/oggenc-aotuv_1.0.1%2baotuv-5.1.dsc

The packages were in a sad state initially and I think that I actually
achieved something with what I have done so far (for instance, both
packages were built as debian native and now, they are not).

Please let me know what you think. I am looking for constructive
criticism and since this pair of packages actually contain a library
(which I am not used to packaging), I would welcome any comments.

Other comments are also quite welcome.

Regards, Rogério Brito.

P.S.: In the future, perhaps, this might be included in Debian, but
now, I'm taking this as a learning exercise.
