Re: itk-4.5 and python

Hello Paul,

> Gert, would you mind if I merged your current rules file with what we
had back in itk 3? When we last had wrapitk python packages?

That's fine with me. I've committed all my changes to the branch
  "itk4-enable-python"

My personal preference would have been to get this package out after I can confirm that it builds on both archs, and then review the settings for possible changes, but I'm also fine if you take over from here.

BTW: my incentive to add four dimensions was that we already work a lot with 3D+t data running segmentations in 4D space. For the other options I had no true preference.

There are some flags that I enabled and I think it handled multiple python
versions. But I'll have to verify.
Indeed? After you left Brad commented that the code in Python is probably not ready for Python 3 (it compiles with Python 3, though, but that's just swig doing the right thing).

Also, we will need to enable the pyBuffer support, for numpy
conversions, which I am looking into now.
That sounds great.

Best
Gert
