this is because its Vcs URL is borken:

$ debcheckout -d pynast
type	svn
url	svn://svn.debian.org/debian-med/trunk/packages/python-nast/trunk/

Should be: svn://svn.debian.org/debian-med/trunk/packages/python-pynast/trunk/
