No, the package name changes only if there is a major SONAME bump, i.e. from
1.0.7 to 2.*.

However, I'm still pretty unsure -- let's wait a reply from upstream, maybe
those libraries are meant for public use, are to be packaged separately and...
all this thread can go to /dev/null.
