 I run a similar setup, procmail + mh-folders. On top of that I
run gnus (in emacs) to actually read the emails, but I've also
tested mew (also an emacs mode), which has better handling of
attachments and stuff. A lot of mua;s for emacs,
including debian's "standard" one, vm, seems able to handle both
mbox and mh folder format. The main point though, imho, is to
stick with the procmail aspect of it, and then check out what
mua;s are able to handle one of those formats and try them out,
since they in reality becomes interchangable when using a standard
mailbox format and a separate "delivery system".
