Mozilla has no trouble with mail that I filter into IMAP folders via exim,
but it _doesn't_ know they're there until you actually open the folder (ie,
it doesn't ask the IMAP server for new message counts in subfolders).
Sylpheed knew they were there, but sometimes displayed message headers (but
not bodies) that had already been deleted (and also showed them out of
thread).

Kmail is getting better and better, but so far there's always been usability
features I don't like.
