Sid (and probably woody) has a different card database, which seems to
have dropped some lines.  My nic stopped working after some upgrade
several weeks ago.

With the card inserted, run "cardctl ident".  Then you'll need to edit
/etc/pcmcia/config using that information.  It should be fairly
straightforward, but if not, ask for help again.
