Fat chance that Knoppix would fit on it. Try to borrow an old CD drive,
but make sure it's not limited to 650MB (as mine is)

If you really want a small command line only Linux, look into White
Dwarf (you know, a star so hugely compressed it would fit into some
bigger lake). It used about 12MB when I last played with it (without
gcc, that is)
