[debian-knoppix] Learning what Knoppix has learned about hardware
Hi,
As I'm compiling kernels for a couple systems where I don't know exactly
which chips are in the systems for things like video and network support, it
occurs to me that Knoppix quite likely already has discovered these things.
At least some of what Knoppix knows can be seen with "dmesg | more" at a
root console. It would be a cute little feature if Knoppix had on its menu a
simple option that would just show the positives - what had been found for
the system. Just a thought.
