[debian-knoppix] terminology

I'm a writer in the United States and I've been asked
by a publisher to write a (small) book about running
Linux from a CD that focuses on KNOPPIX. I've been
using KNOPPIX for quite a while and my associate and I
have some experience with mastering CDs using cloop
file systems, which use the scripts that Klaus wrote.
For example, we've modified KNOPPIX to include and run
a UML.

Though I've been using KNOPPIX for a while I just joined
this list yesterday. I notice that KNOPPIX describes
itself as a "live Linux-on-CD". On some other lists I
see reference to the term "liveCD". Is there a "standard"
term that describes a CD that boots and runs as KNOPPIX
does?
