Well, the "tuxracer" package is in Debian, under the GPL, and works
great; meanwhile the "openracer" package is not in Debian. So I think
the "tuxracer" package is well worth installing.

Agh! The government is not your mother!

- synaptic
Pretty good Debian package management GUI
- python1.5-examples
I should have grouped this with the other Python 1.5 packages
- tcptraceroute
I've used it at least once
- xcruise
Look at the filesystem in 3-D
- planets
I just tried this out and it's a lot of fun
- stars
This one looks really nice too
- gnoise
I've used this to play with WAVE sound files I think
- nethack
IBM line drawing characters are part of my favourite Nethack interface
- xblast
I have heard this heartily recommended as a fun multiplayer game
- bsdgames
Canfield is addictive, and there are other fun games in there
- rsxs xscreensaver-gl xscreensaver-nognome
Screen savers of various neatnesses. You may be able to configure X
Screen Saver to not require a password to unlock the screen. I'll try
to find that out if you want to include the "xscreensaver" package.

Oh, browsing these screen savers is taking me back to the first time I
had GNU/Linux installed...

True... Unfortunately I can't think of any good music performances that
I can verify is legally completely free.

Nobody. This page goes over the legal stuff in Mutopia:
http://www.mutopiaproject.org/legal.html
It's public domain classical stuff. Not many people would be interested
in it but at least a sample would probably be a good idea.
