LANG=ja_JP or LANG=ja_JP.eucJP does not matter. The Gdk warnings
occur when "/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType" is
in the XF86Config-4 FontPath (..dirs/CID and
/usr/share/fonts/truetype do not cause problems).
In my case, the contents of
/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType
are:
Total 36
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 5 28 19:09 .
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 3 28 22:00 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2730 5 24 21:15 encodings.dir
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 5 24 21:15 fonts.alias
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10112 5 24 21:15 fonts.dir
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10112 5 24 21:15 fonts.scale
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 48 5 24 21:15
kochi-gothic.ttf -> /usr/share/fonts/truetype/kochi/kochi-gothic.ttf
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 48 5 24 21:15
kochi-mincho.ttf -> /usr/share/fonts/truetype/kochi/kochi-mincho.ttf
and /usr/share/fonts/truetype/kochi has:
Total 9632
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 5 29 19:33 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 5 28 20:17 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4041016 4 16 11:43
kochi-gothic.ttf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5794096 4 16 11:44
kochi-mincho.ttf
Does this look right?
regards, Jan
