I hope so :)
They at least are the ones that are reasonable stable to base real
development on.

Sure. I will try, too. It's important to not ethat screen will not compile
out of the box, but it has probably become better.

Yeah, PPP would be nice. However, PPP will not come into the Hurd as a
packaging effort. It needs to be implemented.
What is also important is to have character device support, so we can have
mices(!), trackballs, modems (!), and multiple terminals (instead screen),
also so we can try out X fully.
