If you get a chance, you might try the latest Debian hppa-linux. Since hppa was
reinstated on debian-ports, there have been many bug fixes.  The port is more stable
and there are now about 11000 packages.  It works well on SMP machines like c8000.
Only problem is it is under continual development, so sometimes things break.

Good job in repairing your c3750 :-)
