and I read:

install 0.9.3 on this box!
Like for 710, try not to use tasksel step to install your packages.
Markus Grabert pointed us at this mail about successful X setup on this
box!

and I add that I (Stefano Melchior) work with X since 0.9.3!
I add a section in the Boot HPPA Howto (I don't remember the name) where
I explained some step I did to set X up to work some years ago.
I translated as well in italian, but (it was my fault) I haven't keep
updated! ((:-((
It is time to dig in the past and get the howto add alive ;-P

However I tried to boot the April 20 image, but the system displayer the
previously reported error (Guessing which kernel to boot, 32 or
64bit...)
