Booting with "systemd.unit=lightdm.service" should work,
at least if its dependencies are set up correctly.
(Disclaimer: I didn't test that.)

Alternately you can boot with "systemd.unit=multi-user.target",
log in via text mode, and "systemctl start lightdm.service" manually.
