"GRTD,TWITF" is stern, but still gentle.

"Read The Fuckin' Manual" is definitely rude.

This discussion is bordering on, "How many DD's can dance on the
edge of an SDRAM?".

Yes, but newbies often need to be pointed to the correct man page
or HOWTO.  Or even how to interpret what the man page means.
