Just a point of clarification, which I think you're aware of:
when I said "you're scaring the straights" I was using the phrase
the way Bill Murray used it in "Ghostbusters II" when the other two
guys were scaring the other people in the restaurant: "guys, guys,
you're scaring the straights!"
It had a usage in the 60s as a "straight-laced" person, someone who
wasn't tuned in turned on and a dropout. As opposed to being a hippie.
Not "straight" as in "heterosexual."
