Ultimately, the only real requirement for a package's inclusion in the release is that it be free of RC bugs. So we can expect to be exactly where people are willing to put in the work to get us. :) There will almost certainly be more packages dropped from testing (and not making it back in) between now and release, but such decisions are made rather dispassionately by the release team -- if someone cares enough to fix it, it stays in; if no one cares enough to fix it, it doesn't. -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
