I did the same error than Sven when reading your first definitive statement.
Apologies again.

For sure. I'm happy that after 1452353532 mails, we are about to reach a
point on which we could both agree. :)

Be sure that the people NMUing for translation (ie, Christian) are not
feeling comfortable with this situation. We know that it's a risky game to
play, and that if something goes wrong, we will get the flames we deserve
here...

But even if I though really hard about that issue, I cannot see any solution
to dormant bugs in otherwise bug free packages.

I dream every day of a centralization system allowing the developer and
translators to work hand in hand and not more or less despite of each other
as the current system often implies. But I still miss some pieces of the
puzzle (conceptually) and do not have time to implement the others for now.

(BTW, #206363 waits for someone with (very) basic python abilities having
 one or two days free)

Until now, we did deal with this and waited for better days. But the RM
explicitly stated that the only solution to get a given point fixed before
sarge may be to NMU it in the next few weeks. With this new deal, we have to
play another game to fulfill our goals.

Well, I guess that Christian is able to put QA as maintainer for packages he
uploads for l10n bug in dormance since more than N months, but I've the
feeling that it would raise even more issues and flames than it solves...

But I should stop writting long mails to d-d, let you guys work on the RC
bugs and other issues implied by sarge release, and become more studious on
redacting this damn PhD thesis. I'll try from now. I promise. Don't worry,
I'll be back after sarge comes out. You guys won't get ride of me that
easily. And there is many of me. :)

Bye, Mt.
