Well, the start/nostart option is different from the other configuration. We
have already a way to prevent a init script from running, so you can
actually do "/etc/init.d/some-unlinked-script start" and what is good: the
script does not need to be changed to change some settings in there.

AFAIK RH/SuSE is also doing this on a different level, cant remeber about
irix, i think they had no sys v stile init scripts, at all.
