With a very large upstream .orig.tar.gz I would not be very popular with everyone if I did this for openoffice every time :) I added support in the dbs for openoffice to uudecode a patch file with the extension .uu before applying it. I talked to Jeff Bailey at debconf about supporting this in cdbs too. (Bug #202389) Chris
