I have no idea.  I'm miserable at predicting such things.

However, the suspicion that it will evolve like "modprobe and kerneld"
is somewhat mired in the continuing misperception that Hurd
translators are some sort of souped up kernel modules...

Er, I mean "kernel modules on acid".
