Solved, was Re: Problems building libgmp3

Well it took another problem to provide the answer, but I can now build
libgmp3 again!

Turns out my /var was full. /tmp is a link to /var/tmp on my system, so I
was running out of temp space. Freeing up a section of /var resolved the
build issue.
