Sophistry. A C compiler exists to let you build C programs. Quake does
not exist to let you build pak files.

Why don't you just --

a) Package openquartz and be done with it.
or
b) Propose a policy amendment to eliminate contirb altogether (for that
   is the logical conclusion to your reasoning).
