I hope that Debian will reconsider its decision about the status of
the Artistic license. I believe that license was meant to be a free
software license, but its some implications on crucial questions are
not clear.
Yeah, it was generally decided the Artistic license has no teeth because
it's so vague it could literally mean anything in most cases of
contention.

This makes it fit, barely.
On the contrary, if we cannot tell whether a license fits the
criterion, we have to reject the license.
