In that case the maintainer gets a good chance to get in touch with
the upstram authors in order to teach them to use "cvs tag" and "cvs export".

Well, also removing CVS files looks to me like a proper reason for
not using pristine source packages. In fact, since all of my packages
are organized in a local cvs repository I won't be able to use them
otherwise.
