But we should try to get pretty close.  The reason *I* want source
dependencies is the hassles I had when taking over the X tree; there
are things that the source tree depends on (like a particular version
of tcl/tk, at the time ncompress, and some others) that don't show up
*at all* in the binary dependencies -- the first step in taking over a
package should be making sure you can do at least as well as the
previous maintainer as far as building it.
