Oh, yes, it was a threat, but I don't think I read that far in Ian's message
until later. I saw that he was being nonlinear about X 3.1 and sent a reply
containing what I'd already decided. I was more occupied with other issues,
like "can I continue to delegate release control", that had been going through
my head for hours. Had I read that far in Ian's message, I might have reacted
a bit differently, but would have made the same decision to no longer delegate
release control.
