Debian has a very good reputation for security at the moment.  We MUST
NOT throw this away like this.  Our already-poor reputation for
release slippage will not be hurt by another 2-3 weeks.

If it comes to that I will personally move X 3.2 into frozen, whether
I have permission or not, or indeed even if you tell me not to and say
that we must release with the unpatched 3.1.2.

If this means you want to cancel my account on master and tell me to
leave the project so be it, but that is how serious I think this is.

I don't intend to leave the project over something like this, but I
_will_ take direct action.
