Package: mc Version: 3.2.1-1 This version of mc requires libgpm.so.1. The gpm package provides this shared library, but is not listed in the dependencies for mc. The rest of the gpm package is not required to run mc - just the library. Maybe there should be a separate libgpm1 package which contains just /usr/lib/libgpm.so.1.xx. Programs which need gpm mouse support (such as mc) should then depend on libgpm1. Marek
