There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with forking. It's part and parcel to our entire "movement" of Open Source. If you do not like a thing or disagree with a thing, then change it to your liking and fork it, stating your reasons.

Look at the systemd debate. Those that didn't agree forked. It was and still is their divine right to do so, whether I agree with them or not. It's part of the GPL. and it is a good thing to read. However, no one has license to browbeat another to accept your personal moral views. We have laws that make applications, videos and pictures of illegal sexual activity illegal. That is quite clear cut, CoC prevents Debian from distributing such things.

With regard to "male gaze" issues, there is already an answer to that, the Burqa and the Chadri. Since this is 2015, maybe it would better suit some if everyone wore them, just so we're all equal. I would offer that as a compromise. Who's in favor?? :) Ric
