Hi,

That is a good idea. But as a author, I want to keep the current grub
background. We may consider the inksplats version for plymouth or/and for
GDM/KDM so it can indicate the user that Debian just booted.

If it is used for GDM/KDM, it can be odd to use the "usual" version of the
background for plymouth, as it will witch from "usual" to "inksplats" to
"usual" again.

So I guess the inksplats background can be used for plymouth only, or for
plymouth+GDM/KDM, but not just GDM/KDM.

The fading effect from inksplats to usual can be nice.

To be short, if we decide to use the inksplats background, I will be likely
for plymouth and GDM/KDM.

One more thing though, inksplats style is a very common and used over and over
style. Some of us like it, but we have to keep in mind that it is not so very
creative and original, where very simple backgrounds as the usual one are
(oddly) not so seen.

If the message for Wheezy if "simple, fast and polished", maybe we should
avoid the inksplat wallpaper.

Adrien
