As discussed on IRC, with any luck this should drop even further, since
you were using trunk anna which raises the high-water mark and I've
reverted that change. Your numbers and my memory suggest maybe 40MB or
so?

I wonder if it would be worth adding top and du to standard images so
that it's easier to spot memory hogs?
