Comments/Problems:

First I want to say that the install went very well overall! Thanks for
your hard work.
The message "i8253 count to high! resetting.." is printed to the screen on
top of configuration screen. It happened 2 or 3 times, and then later
durring normal system boot. It wasn't clear to me what caused it. It
appeared to show up randomly. dmesg returns healthy messages except the
following:
<snipet>
eth0: Setting full-duplex based on MII#1 link partner capability of 45e1.
apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.16)
[drm] Initialized radeon 1.7.0 20020828 on minor 0
[drm:radeon_unlock] *ERROR* Process 1156 using kernel context 0
inserting floppy driver for 2.4.27-1-k7
Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M
FDC 0 is a post-1991 82077
spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.
i8253 count too high! resetting..
i8253 count too high! resetting..
i8253 count too high! resetting..
</snipet>
"i8253 count too high! resetting.." continues to repeat for a few pages.

Also,
Despite setting the monitor resolution to 1024x760 @ 75Mhz durring the
installation configuration, when I log in, it appears to be set to 800x600
@ 75Mhz. The Gnome "Screen Resolution Preferences" window does not allow
me to set my screen resolution to 1024x760 @ 75Mhz. I can only choose
between 800x768 and 640x480.
Hope this helps.
