I think that trying to support everything with the one set of floppies
is a mistake.
I think we would be better of making it easy (even trial) for the end
user to customise the installer to there needs.
Anything the bootdisk doesnt run is both a waste of space and added
complexity.
The user should be able top build there bootdisk to there needs, it
should be easy to just change the /etc/inittab if a devfs kernel is
going to be used.
We wont be able to make a general purpose 1 disk installer.
