Did you put it in upgrade mode[1]?
If UpSlug2[2] doesn't work even if you connect the NSLU2 and your PC
directly with a crossover cable[3] (or a normal patch cable and a NIC
with auto crossover) it's probably bricked, but unless something in the
hardware has died this shouldn't really be possible under "normal"
operation.
Sorry, but that's about the closest I can detail this for you; someone
else will have to help you if you've got problems finding the NSLU2 -
I'm always using the SerComm upgrade utility since I'm running Windows
on my PC...
