Hi folks, I'm trying to compile a new 2.4.18 kernel from the
source in unstable on
an xp1000. Basically I want to get sound working. Is the sound in an xp1000 Soundblaster compatible? ALso should I select generic or dp264 as system type? I've compiled one kernel and that failed at boot because it couldn't find the scsi drive. Which scsi adaptor should i select in menuconfig? I wish kernel compiling didn't take so long ;-) kind regards, Peter Watkinson
