There is no preference file in the new boot-floppies because I was told
Penguin uses sane defaults and you have to set the kernel anway. So how
about removing your old preferences before trying Penguin-18? Maybe you
should try to download the original hqx form the page, as mentioned here
some time ago. But then you need binhex again... Sorry, it was working for
me (until I tried to boot, when the emulator crashed), but I can not test
very much of it.

BTW boot-floppies_2.2.11_m68k is in incoming, 2.2.12 on my page (and the
official 2.2.12 will be uploaded to incoming tomorrow, while 2.2.13 (with a
pmac-fdisk manpage?) might make its way to my page soon).

So, amiga+atari users, anybody working on the updated quickinstall guide?
vms is in CVS, what about mac?
