Hi James,
having this old Amiga 2000HD, without a monitor, you ask:

I think you would need the following parts:
- a new power supply (hoping that the mainboard is still working)
- an 030 card (or better)
- memory (I guess 4MB will get you running, but better go for 16MB)
- a graphics card (if you want to use X)
Depending on the graphic card you could hook you 21' monitor to your Amiga witch makes working a little easier :-)
To sum it all up, it seems to be cheaper (and faster) if you buy a second-hand Amiga 3000 or 4000 that already has all this features included.
