Re: Call for bids for DebConf24
I would like to sincerely apologize for my generalizations about
countries that have hosted DebConfs. As I understand it, the events were
safe, had no incidents, and people had a very good time at them. I had
intended to convey concerns I had heard from people discussing visiting
those countries in general, though it clearly did not come across that
way and, even if it had, that doesn't mean it would have been
acceptable.
Thank you to those of you who reached out to me about this and helped
educate me on the matter.
