BTW, I know some spaniards are amazed that we Mexicans identify with
the Mexican flag - The concept of nationality is not shared among our
countries. I suppose Amaya would say she's Spanish (as most people in
Madrid do), but ask most non-Madrid (or non-Castilla?) Spanish people,
and their nationality will vary.

Completely agree. I also don't like the flags solution.
