Certainly many people's working styles heavily depend on having network
access to repositories/documentation/collaborators, so yes, maybe it's
worth making it a requirement that people think about in advance rather
than apparently organising at the last moment.  Obviously this can be
satisfied by wired rather than wireless connectivity, *if* there are
enough available network ports spread throughout the same area that
wireless would cover.

I'm still not clear how we've been negotiated into agreeing on WPA.  Did
whoever agreed to it from our side realise the lack of hardware/driver
support?  How come http://www.tkk.fi/cc/services/aalto/ , which was
mentioned on the -team list, doesn't even use WEP?
