    Without commenting on the rest of the BitKeeper licensing mess,
I'd like to point out that the second option isn't quite accurate --
Ben would only have to give up using BitKeeper to work on the kernel.
Alan Cox, for one, gets along just fine working on the kernel without
BitKeeper.
