Given a possible upcoming GR about firmware, I'm wondering if someone working for a large hardware manufacturer might not have more chances to feel free to vote according to their own personal opinions, if the votes weren't publicly disclosed. I'm thinking that Debian as a project might have has scaled up to a level where the outcomes of votes have higher impact than when our process was initially designed.
